This Privacy Policy explains how Assistant accesses, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the app.

Assistant is a PDF and image toolkit that provides features such as PDF viewing, compression, merging, splitting, encryption, decryption, printing, image to PDF, text to PDF, image watermarking, and long image generation.

2. Information We Access or Process
To provide app features, Assistant may access or process the following information after you choose files or grant permissions:
- Files and documents, including PDFs, DOCX files, and other documents selected by you.
- Images and media selected by you for image to PDF, watermarking, and long image generation.
- Generated files, including PDFs, images, and documents created locally on your device.
- Device and advertising-related information that may be processed by third-party SDKs such as Vungle and Google Play services, including advertising identifiers, device information, app interaction information, crash data, or diagnostics.
3. Local File Processing
Assistant processes PDF and image files mainly on your device. Files you select and files generated by the app are not uploaded to servers operated by the developer.
The app may use local cache directories for temporary files during processing, such as temporary PDF compression output or processing cache. These files are used only to complete the current operation and are usually deleted after completion or failure. They may also be removed by the system when cache is cleared.
4. How We Use Information
- To open, preview, edit, convert, or generate files selected by you.
- To save processed files to your device, such as Downloads, Pictures, or app-specific folders.
- To show ads, prevent ad abuse, and measure ad performance.
- To maintain app stability, security, and performance.
- To respond to feedback, troubleshoot errors, and improve the app experience.
5. Permissions
Depending on your Android version and the feature you use, Assistant may request the following permissions:
- Photos and media access: used to read images selected by you.
- Read external storage: used on older Android versions to read files selected by you.
- Write external storage: used on older Android versions to save generated files.
- Manage external storage: if enabled, it is used only for file-tool operations such as reading, saving, and managing files.
If you deny a permission, some file selection, reading, or saving features may not work properly.

Assistant integrates third-party services for advertising and platform support. These third parties may collect or process information according to their own privacy policies.
- Vungle SDK: used to show ads and may process advertising identifiers, device information, app usage information, and diagnostics.
- Google Play services: used to support Google-related service capabilities.

7. Sharing
We do not sell your PDFs, images, or personal files. We do not actively share file contents with third parties except in the following cases:
- You choose to share a file with another app or service through Android system sharing.
- Third-party SDKs process necessary device, advertising, or diagnostic information to provide ads or maintain services.
- Disclosure is required by applicable laws, regulations, courts, or government authorities.
8. Retention and Deletion
Your source files usually remain on your device or with the file provider you choose. Assistant does not copy them to developer-operated servers. Files generated by the app are saved on your device, and you can delete them through your file manager, gallery, or system settings.
You can clear app cache and temporary files through system app storage settings, or uninstall the app to remove local app data. Data processed by third-party SDKs is retained and deleted according to those third parties' policies.
9. Children's Privacy
Assistant is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will handle it within a reasonable scope.
10. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect data during local processing. However, no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be absolutely secure. You should protect your device, files, and accounts.
11. Your Choices
- You can choose not to select specific files or images.
- You can revoke app permissions in system settings.
- You can delete generated files, clear cache, or uninstall the app.
- You can reset or limit the advertising identifier in system advertising settings.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy due to feature changes, legal requirements, or Google Play policy requirements. When updated, the effective date on this page will be changed. Major changes may be notified in the app or by other reasonable means.
